THIS FAMILY TREE

I started @thisfamilytree in February 2018, when I was 27 weeks pregnant with my first daughter. I had a difficult pregnancy, exacerbated by an autoimmune disease (systemic lupus erythematosus). I wanted a way to be able to connect with other women and moms directly, instead of reading through all the scary and generally negative forums out there. 

This Family Tree was borne from wanting to hear about the experiences of others in motherhood, and so I want to continue to share my experiences with you, in the spirit of community.

This Family Tree Podcast was my next labour of love, which I host with my husband Shane. We chat with experts and celeb guests about parenting, relationships, marriage, and wellness.

This Family Tree evolved a lot since I've begun, and I assume that it'll continue to do so as Lucy and Betty grow, and we experience new joys and challenges.
