To paraphrase Tolstoy, every easy pregnancy is alike, yet every difficult pregnancy is difficult in its own way. While I had no problems conceiving and staying pregnant, I faced a lot of challenges due to having lupus. I discuss my own journey quite frequently on my Instagram account, and will continue to do so on this blog.
However, I want to give other women the opportunities to share their stories as well, so that we can learn from and relate to their experiences.
One of my best long-time friends, Veronica, joined me recently for a talk about her difficulty maintaining a viable pregnancy. Vee has experienced multiple miscarriages in her journey to become a mum, and talks incredibly candidly with me about it. I had a lot of questions for her, and she was sweet about indulging every one of them.
Whether you've experienced loss and miscarriage, or know somebody who has, I hope you're able to find comfort in Veronica's refreshingly honest talk about it.
